The rich history of our beloved desert community radiates within the grounds of the 29 Palms Public Cemetery. Beginning with the ailing WW1 veterans who came to Twentynine Palms
in hopes of improving their health, foresaw a very practical and personal need, as well as a
community need for a cemetery in the High Desert. We at the 29 Palms Cemetery hope you enjoy learning about the history of the Cemetery grounds, building, and most importantly the souls we have in our care.
